Dennis’s crew got this dock rebuild completed today. We demoed the old dock and boathouse, saved the lifts and reinstalled the existing lifts on new pilings. A new boathouse was unable to be constructed due to heavy grasses in the sound, but this was a fantastic upgrade! Great job to all the crews!

It’s Fun Fact Friday! Did you know that piling depth is a key component of the longevity of your dock and whether your dock makes it through a storm? This is one of our most important factors of making us the leading Marine Construction company in town. We are the only company in town with the heavy equipment and now THREE barges with track-hoes and vibratory plates to set those pilings. We make sure our pilings are set at a minimum of 8’ in the ground for dock pilings and 10’ in the ground for lift/boathouse pilings. When we do piling replacement work, we notice many of docks constructed by other companies only place those poles in 3’-4’ in the ground AND upside down to help cut costs!
You may pay a little more for our work, but there is a reason! Higher quality materials, higher quality build, and some of the most professional employees in the construction industry! We do HONEST/ high quality work for a competitive price! Why do it twice, when you can do it right from the start.

We should have this job completed tomorrow. The Thru-flow decking is always a great way to dress up any dock while providing extra protection!
